I recently retired from the Arizona Historical Society, where I was Field Services Officer, later renamed Community Outreach Historian. I had the privilege of visiting and supporting more than 70 museums throughout the state. I got to know the staff and volunteers at each location, so that now I can say I have Arizona history friends in small places all over the state.
Each museum has its own special features and unique qualities. A book could be written about each one, and perhaps some day I'll write one. In the meantime, here is a link to the Arizona Historical Society web page listing many of the Arizona history museums in every corner of the state.
