Historian, Arizona Historical Society, November 2001 – February 2009
Worked with more than 65 rural history museums, gave workshops and PowerPoint presentations throughout the state. Administered a grant program to provide small museums with archival supplies, computer software and hardware, as well as exhibit materials and equipment. Conducted oral histories, wrote history articles for newspapers, magazines, and books. Historical researcher and consulting scholar for grants, other museums, authors, and the general public.

Write, edit, and proofread text, design and layout pages for quality publisher of Southwestern books.
Freelance, Researcher, and Writer, February 2009 - present
Write Arizona history articles for The Copper Dome, Capitol Times, Northwest Explorer, Good News Tucson, the Journal of Arizona History, and the UofA Alumni Magazine. Currently writing Celebrate Arizona, a pictorial history of Arizona, to be published by Gibbs Smith Publisher, in December, 2010.
